The M-12 highway was closed in the Nizhny Novgorod region due to a traffic accident.

      Traffic has been temporarily restricted on a section of the M-12 “Vostok” highway in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by the press service of the Avtodor company.

      The restriction concerns the 446th kilometer of the highway in the Arzamas district. It is clarified that this part of the road is completely closed to drivers heading toward Kazan. According to available information, the restrictions were caused by an accident that occurred on this stretch.

      A detour has been organized at the 442nd kilometer of the M-12 “Vostok” highway. Details of the accident on the highway are currently being clarified.
