PKMF "Torpedo" player Ivan Chishkala returns to Portugal.

      January 12, 2026, 19:39 Sport — Futsal player Ivan Chishkala will continue his career at Lisbon's Sporting. After half a year at PKMF "Torpedo" he returns to Portugal to fight for the top prize in European futsal — the UEFA Futsal Champions League.

      The 30-year-old joined the club last summer, moving from Benfica, but received an offer from the reigning Portuguese champion.

      In a short time in Russia Chishkala posted impressive numbers: 27 matches, 21 goals and 12 assists. Before this season he had not played in the Russian championship for five years.

      On January 11 Chishkala played his last match for the Nizhny Novgorod club against "IrAero", and also said goodbye to the fans and the team. Torpedo beat the visitors 5:4.

      After the game Ivan addressed the team: "So many emotions, so much I want to say. First of all, I would like to thank you for accepting me, for believing in me. Together we came together and managed to make this journey. Yes, it turned out not to be as long as I would have liked. The main thing is that in such a short time we managed to create a team."

      The futsal player urged his teammates to enjoy every minute of the sport, give 100% and not waste the limited time they have.
