In Bogorodsk, Nizhny Novgorod region, an accident occurred involving a child riding a snow tube. The incident happened on January 6 near one of the residential buildings.
According to the State Traffic Inspectorate, a 7-year-old boy, sliding down a hill on an inflatable "vatruška" (snow tube), went onto the roadway. At that moment a Skoda car was traveling along the road, driven by a 61-year-old man.
A collision could not be avoided; the child ended up under the car's wheels. He sustained injuries and was taken to the Bogorodsk Central District Hospital.
Traffic police officers continue to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
