      More than 1,500 missing people were found in the Nizhny Novgorod region in 2025. This was reported by the search-and-rescue center "Rys" on its VKontakte page.

      It is noted that volunteers received a total of 1,804 requests to search for missing people. Of these, 1,559 people were found alive and another 91 were found dead. The fate of another 110 people remains unknown. Over the year volunteers organized 289 field deployments. It is separately noted that 304 people were located thanks to the use of the ECHO system, the work of foot search teams, and information coordinators.

      The searchers also published data for December. The center received 89 requests. Seventy people were found alive, two were found dead, and 14 have not yet been found. Thirteen search operations were carried out in December.
