Six all-season buildings have appeared in three children's camps in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, allowing schoolchildren to rest and study year-round. The new buildings are designed for 300 children from different parts of the region, the regional Ministry of Education reported.
Modern buildings opened at the P.I. Gutsev camp, "Nadezhda" in Buturlino, and "City of Sports" in Dzerzhinsk. Each received two residential buildings, each accommodating 50 places. The premises are fully adapted for comfortable living and studying at any time of the year.
As noted by the Minister of Education and Science of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Mikhail Puchkov, construction was completed in a short time. According to him, this made it possible to start the first winter season as early as December.
Thus, the P.I. Gutsev camp held a session called "Olympiad Mathematics." It was attended by 92 schoolchildren passionate about the exact sciences. Lessons were led by nine experienced teachers. The program included solving complex problems, team games, and creative activities.
The department added that the project is being implemented with the support of the national project "Youth and Children" and is aimed at creating a favorable environment for the development and recreation of schoolchildren at any time of the year.
It was previously reported that 2.2 billion rubles would be allocated for the construction and reconstruction of schools in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
