      A brief warm spell accompanied by precipitation is expected in Nizhny Novgorod on the first weekend of January 2026. This forecast was published by the Yandex.Weather service.

      On Saturday, January 3, the temperature will drop to -6°C in the morning, but it will feel like -12°C. During the day and evening it will warm to -2°C, and at night to 0°C. Precipitation in the form of snow mixed with rain is expected throughout the day. The wind will blow from the south.

      Already on Sunday, January 4, the temperature will begin to fall. It will remain around -2°C until the evening, and by night it will drop to -4°C. Due to the wind it will feel like -11°C. Precipitation will continue.

      With the start of next week the cold spell will continue. According to forecasts, on Saturday, January 10, the temperature will fall to -11°C.
