30 December 2025 17:59 Society A vandal damaged a New Year's angel in the center of Arzamas. The incident was captured on street cameras, which were shared on the Telegram channel of Mayor Alexander Shchelokov.
The video shows a young man leaving a crowd of peers and deliberately walking toward the illuminated figure. Coming closer, he grabs the structure, uproots it, and throws it to the ground.
After the fall the installation stops lighting up. The recording ends there.
Alexander Shchelokov suggested that the participant in the incident either fix the situation himself or "think together" about how to resolve it.
Recall that Mayor Alexander Mudrov closed all public toilets in Gorodets because of vandals.
