Nizhny Novgorod authorities approved sites for investment projects totaling 80 billion rubles over the year.
December 30, 2025, 12:14 Economy — The Council on Land and Property Relations under the Government of Nizhny Novgorod Region in 2025 approved the allocation of plots for 568 investment projects. The total volume of investments in them amounted to 80.3 billion rubles. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.
As Deputy Governor Yegor Polyakov noted, despite the difficult economic situation, business interest in the region is growing. The number of projects submitted has more than doubled.
"Almost 70% of the projects are planned to be implemented in the industrial and logistics sectors. About 9% are for sports and educational facilities, and another 8% are for tourism," he said.
The deputy governor added that the implementation of all initiatives is expected to create more than 7,600 new jobs in the region.
Among the approved applications are the construction of schools on Dargomyzhsky Street and in the Meshcherskoye Ozero microdistrict in Nizhny Novgorod, as well as on Magistralnaya Street in Kstovo. Approval has been granted for the construction of a kindergarten on Shakespeare Street, glamping sites in Nizhny Novgorod, Diveyevsky, Borsky and Gorodetsky districts, a "Tennis Academy" on Nartov Street, and hotels in Arzamas.
Nizhny Novgorod Region ranks second in the National Investment Climate Rating compiled by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
Investors can submit a project application through the "Investor's Personal Account" on the website of the regional Ministry of Property and Land Relations. The service was developed as part of the "End-to-End Investment Flow" project, aimed at speeding up approvals and reducing the administrative burden on businesses.
