The repair of the R-158 in the Dalnekonstantinovsky District will be undertaken by a company from Tatarstan.

      A contract for the major overhaul of a section of the R-158 in the Dalnekonstantinovsky District has been signed with OAO "Kazdorstroy" from Tatarstan. This is reported on the public procurement website.

      The project involves the major overhaul of the R-158 highway Nizhny Novgorod – Arzamas – Saransk – Issa – Penza – Saratov on the section from kilometer 40 to kilometer 52. Work must be completed no later than 15 July 2026.

      The contract value amounted to 539 million rubles, which is below the original minimum price of 613.1 million rubles. The deadline for applications to participate in the tender closed on 17 December 2025. The customer for the work is the Federal State Institution "Uprdor Moscow — Nizhny Novgorod."

      "Kazdorstroy" specializes in the construction of roads and highways. According to open data, 18.28% of the company belongs to Ravil Garipov, 19.95% to his daughter Elvira Akhunova, 11.58% to his wife Liliya Garipova, and 19.45% to Milyausha Pinskaya. In 2025 "Kazdorstroy" was headed by Ivan Zakharov. According to 2024 results, the company's revenue grew from 4 to 19.7 billion rubles, and net profit amounted to 41.6 million rubles.

      There is no information in open sources about the company implementing projects in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Recall that the major overhaul of this section of the R-158 was initially carried out by the Tver company LLC "DSK." The deadlines for completion of the road facility were repeatedly postponed. In May the contractor left the site, and the contract with it was terminated; court proceedings are currently underway.

      Additionally, in 2025 the reconstruction of a 23-kilometer section of the R-158 route in the Arzamas District (from km 77 to km 104) was completed.
