The City Center for Psychological, Pedagogical, Medical and Social Assistance (PPMS) in Nizhny Novgorod will be named after the former head of the education department, Vladimir Radchenko. This was announced on his social media by Mayor Yuri Shalabaev.
He noted that work on creating the center had been carried out over a long period. According to the mayor, the old premises were completely renovated: a major overhaul was carried out, modern equipment was purchased, and a professional team was formed.
The mayor emphasized that the Center is already fully operational and fulfills an important social mission. The former head of the Department of Education, Vladimir Radchenko, who passed away suddenly in the summer of 2025, actively participated in its development.
"We decided to give the PPMS Center his name," the mayor wrote.
