Eleven New Year trees have been installed in the Dzerzhinsk urban district.

      The main green beauty of the upcoming holiday was lit up with lights near the north stand of the Khimik Stadium in the city center. And winter, seeing it, reminded everyone of itself with December frosts.

      Residents of Dzerzhinsk came to the tree lighting with their whole families. Students from the creative ensembles of music schools, schools of the arts, as well as palaces of culture and the Sputnik youth center performed for them.

      “The run-up to the New Year holidays is a wonderful and magical time when you can briefly put worries aside, remember those wonderful times when we ourselves were children, and give joy to our children,” said Dzerzhinsk’s first deputy head Gleb Andreev, addressing the city’s residents with congratulations. “Of course, our thoughts are also with our defenders, fellow townspeople from Dzerzhinsk, who are celebrating the New Year far from home, in harsh combat conditions. We love them very much and await their victorious return home! Thanks to them we have a peaceful sky above us and preparations for the most magical holiday are in full swing. From the bottom of my heart I congratulate everyone on the upcoming New Year. May it bring us peace, joy and happiness!”

      By the way, there are currently 11 New Year trees installed in our municipal district: six in Dzerzhinsk and five in the settlements. Festive performances will take place at all cultural institutions in the city. The climax of the holidays will be the New Year’s Eve celebration at the city’s main tree on December 31, at Svadebnaya Square, in front of the Palace of Culture of the Chemists, where the main New Year’s performance will take place.
