The work schedule of Nizhny Novgorod hospitals for the New Year holidays has been published.

      The Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of Health announced the schedule of medical institutions in the region for the New Year holidays. According to the department, patient reception during this time will be carried out by on-duty medical staff on a shift schedule.

      City polyclinics and outpatient-polyclinic departments of multidisciplinary hospitals, including children’s facilities in Nizhny Novgorod, will be open on December 30 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. From January 1 to 8, patient reception is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. In turn, on December 31 and January 11 polyclinics operate from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and on January 9 and 10 — from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

      Polyclinics of central district, district and local hospitals in municipalities will receive patients on December 30 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. From January 1 to 8, institutions will operate from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On December 31, as well as on January 9, 10 and 11, reception is organized from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

      Medical outpatient clinics, feldsher-obstetric stations and feldsher points will provide scheduled and urgent care on December 30 from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. From January 1 to 8 they will be open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. On December 31, as well as on January 9, 10 and 11, care will be available from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

      Residents of the region will still be able to call a doctor to their homes. From December 30 to January 11 such calls, as well as reception of patients with fever, will be carried out during polyclinic working hours. Urgent outpatient care on December 30 is provided from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and from January 1 to 11 — from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

      Consultative polyclinics of multidisciplinary regional and city hospitals, diagnostic centers and the oncology service will work on December 30 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. On December 31 and January 11 patient reception is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, on January 9 and 10 — from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. From January 1 to 8 these institutions are closed.

      Dispensaries and specialized centers provide scheduled care on December 30 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. From January 1 to 8 there will be on-duty doctors in the tuberculosis, psychiatric, dermatovenereological and narcology profiles from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On December 31 and January 11 the institutions are open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, on January 9 and 10 — from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

      Antenatal clinics will receive patients on December 30 from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. From January 1 to 8 they operate from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM; on December 31 and January 11 — from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM; on January 9 and 10 — from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

      For acute toothache residents are advised to contact the district branches of the Regional Dental Polyclinic. On December 30 they operate from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. From December 31 to January 11 reception will be organized at various branches of the institution; the schedule is posted on the polyclinic’s official website.

      Urgent dental care for adults outside dental service hours is provided at the maxillofacial surgery department of City Clinical Hospital No. 39 in the Kanavinsky District of Nizhny Novgorod. On holidays and Sundays care is available from 3:00 PM to 9:00 AM, on Saturdays — from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Urgent dental care for children is provided daily from 3:00 PM to 9:00 AM at the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital.

      Trauma centers at polyclinics continue to operate around the clock on holidays and accept patients of all ages.

      Inpatient facilities operate in the usual mode during the holiday period — around the clock and without days off. At the same time, scheduled hospitalizations are not conducted on these days.

      If urgent medical help is needed, residents should call an ambulance — the service operates around the clock and provides emergency care in all areas.

      At the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Clinical Hospital named after N.A. Semashko, around-the-clock work of the department of scheduled and emergency consultative care will be ensured during the holidays.

      All medical institutions in the region will return to the standard work schedule from January 12. You can check the work schedule of a specific organization from December 30 to January 11 on the official websites of medical institutions and on internet platforms, including Yandex Maps.

      The information service will operate according to the following schedule: December 30 — from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, December 31 — from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, January 2, 3, 5, 6 and 8–10 — from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. January 1, 4, 7 and 11 are declared days off.
