Directors of Nizhny Novgorod schools were awarded for training new personnel for the construction industry.

      Heads of nine general education institutions in the Nizhny Novgorod Region received government awards for developing construction classes and preparing the industry's future workforce. Letters of appreciation from the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and commemorative gifts were presented by the Deputy Chairman of the regional government, Anatoly Molev.

      "I would like to express my gratitude to the heads of municipal educational organizations and to the Ministry of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod Region for the productive joint work. It is important that you are already involving young people in our construction profession from their school years. I am confident that together with you and representatives of secondary and higher education institutions we will be able to significantly strengthen the industry's personnel," said Anatoly Molev.

      Directors of Schools No. 3, 125, 189, School No. 183 named after R. Alekseev, and Lyceums No. 38 and 180 of Nizhny Novgorod were honored with awards for conscientious work and for promoting construction professions. Letters of appreciation were also presented to the heads of Secondary School No. 9 in Kstovo, Secondary School No. 8 and School No. 6 in Bor, Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      The awards ceremony took place as part of the first meeting of the working group on implementing the concept for training personnel for the construction industry and housing and communal services through 2035 in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, which was held at the Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (NNGASU). The event served as a starting point for practical actions to address one of the industry's key tasks — creating and developing a personnel reserve for the region's construction complex.

      The advisory body will coordinate a large-scale "road map" aimed at creating a modern personnel training system capable of providing the region's construction industry with qualified specialists in accordance with the requirements of the development strategy for the construction industry and housing and communal services of the Russian Federation.

      The concept for training personnel for the construction industry and housing and communal services through 2035 in the Nizhny Novgorod Region is aimed at improving the system of construction education and replenishing the construction complex's workforce with specialists ready to work with modern technologies and materials. In the long term, its implementation will make it possible to achieve the goals of national projects, including "Youth and Children" and "Infrastructure for Life."
