Beeline will present a nationwide ranking of regional AI activity.

      The Beeline Big Data & AI team, which develops solutions based on big data and AI, has begun creating the 2026 regional ranking. Experts have previously developed and presented the market twice with the "Index of Regional Activity in the Field of AI" — a ranking where leaders in technology development are determined by a neural-network jury based on public data and media publications.

      The existing Index analyzes five key aspects reflecting the degree of AI integration into regional life:

      - Labor market: actual demand for AI specialists, salary levels and vacancy closure dynamics.

      - Scientific activity: research potential measured by the number of relevant scientific publications.

      - Media presence: intensity and tone of AI coverage in the media and social networks.

      - Search interest: the level of residents' interest in artificial intelligence technologies.

      - Education: availability and quality of AI-related programs at regional universities.

      The ranking methodology is built on transparent and verifiable principles. Using a neural network for analysis makes it possible to process huge data sets and reveal hidden patterns. The second annual Index, presented in October 2025, was based on the analysis of over 4.5 million records. The entire process — from data collection and cleaning to the final calculation — is based on complex mathematical models developed by the Beeline team. Partners that collected information and publications to form the dataset included Brand Analytics, Cyberia and the Institute for Analysis of Big Data and AI at Tomsk State University. The publication of the ranking has no commercial purpose and is not aimed at promoting any companies, services or regions. In the new season Beeline plans to strengthen the methodology and expand the range of data sources used to form the ranking.
