597 veterinary violations were detected in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      December 25, 2025 09:33 Society — In the Nizhny Novgorod region, specialists from Rosselkhoznadzor identified 597 violations of veterinary requirements in the documentation for products. This was reported by the press service of the agency's interregional administration.

      In addition, during monitoring 120 thousand veterinary accompanying documents were found that had not been cancelled within the prescribed deadlines. As the agency emphasized, this violates the principle of product traceability, which ensures the safety of agricultural food products.

      All enterprises that committed violations were sent appropriate warnings through the "VetIS.Passport" module. The situation remains under the agency's control.

      Rosselkhoznadzor recommends that all participants in the circulation of such products strictly comply with veterinary requirements to protect consumers from substandard goods.

      Earlier it was reported that Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors for the Nizhny Novgorod region completed inspections of New Year's Christmas tree markets in Nizhny Novgorod. In addition, 18 tons of questionable "Rossiyskiy" cheese were found in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
