A new landfill costing 692,000,000 rubles will be built in Dzerzhinsk.

      A new solid municipal waste landfill with a total cost of more than 692 million rubles is planned to be built in Dzerzhinsk. This is reported on the public procurement portal.

      The contractor is obliged to construct the facility at the address: 56 Moskovskoye Highway. The landfill will serve Nizhny Novgorod, Dzerzhinsk and Volodarsky District. The customer of the project is LLC "MAG GROUP".

      The published documentation states that the contract includes not only construction but also preparatory works and the subsequent commissioning of the facility. The work will be carried out as part of the sixth phase of the "MAG-1" project.

      Applications for participation in the tender will close on December 29, 2025.

      Recall that in March the state expertise approved three more phases of construction of the MAG-1 landfill. The complex began operating in the Nizhny Novgorod region in 2012. It is intended for the placement and neutralization of municipal solid waste, bulky waste and industrial waste of hazard classes 3 and 4. It occupies an area of 70 hectares.
