Employees of the local history museum in the town of Pervomaisk conducted an educational tour of the exhibitions dedicated to the Day of the Unknown Soldier for the pupils of the preparatory group of MADOU kindergarten "Svetlyachok." December 3 is observed in Russia as the Day of the Unknown Soldier. On this day the country honors the memory of the fallen defenders of the Fatherland. Today at the event the young visitors to the museum learned many interesting things about the events of the Great Patriotic War, about the feats of the Russian soldier, about the courage of our great-grandfathers. The children listened with great interest, asked questions, and examined the exhibits. They especially liked the "Front-line Dugout" and the new exhibition "To the Defenders of the Fatherland": war trophies, field rations, photographs and personal items of the dead — all of this is living history.
