In 2026, road repairs are planned for the road leading to the village of Podvyazye in the Nizhny Novgorod region, where the historic Priklonsky-Rukavishnikov estate is located. This was reported by representatives of the Bogorodsk district administration in response on social media to an appeal from the estate's owner, Zhanna Potravko.
Access to the estate is via the village of Kalikino along an unpaved road. As part of the planned works, the most problematic stretches of the route are to be covered with crushed stone.
Earlier, social media users drew attention to the fact that the estate can be reached only in dry weather. In the rainy season and during the spring thaw, passage along the dirt road becomes virtually impossible. Residents of nearby settlements also proposed an alternative — to build a road from the village of Venets.
According to Bogorodsk authorities, 10 million rubles have already been allocated for the development of design and estimate documentation. These funds are intended to prepare for the upcoming repairs.
Zhanna Potravko emphasized that the lack of a quality road not only hampers access to the estate but also impedes the full restoration of the architectural monuments located on its grounds.
Earlier it was reported that the Nizhny Novgorod regional ministry of property is requisitioning three plots for the construction of a Balakhna bypass. The construction of this road already requires 30 billion rubles.
