Nizhny Novgorod residents may make it into the "Top 100 Russian Managers".

      Nizhny Novgorod residents can apply to participate in the regional stage of the "TOP-100 Russian Managers" ranking.

      As reported by the press service of the MOO "Association of Managers", professional managers of the Nizhny Novgorod region are invited to take part in the regional stage of the "TOP-100 Russian Managers" ranking. According to the information, the main goal of the project is to identify leaders in their industries and functional areas. Over the past 25 years, more than 18,000 managers nationwide have become laureates. For the Nizhny Novgorod region, "TOP-100 Russian Managers. Regions", which is part of the federal project "TOP-1000", will take place for the first time.

      "Based on the 25-year experience and methodology of the federal project 'TOP-1000 Russian Managers', the rankings will become a platform for strengthening the personnel reserve and promoting advanced management practices in all regions of Russia," said Vyacheslav Evseev, Executive Director of the Association of Managers.

      Thus, as part of the expert voting, top managers will evaluate their colleagues' achievements across a number of key areas. In particular: business reputation, contribution to company development, strategic and financial management, sales effectiveness, personnel and reputational decisions, communication strategy, innovative approaches and management of the logistics service. New laureates will be chosen by the business community.

      It is noted that top managers from commercial companies in the Nizhny Novgorod region will be able to submit their candidacies by role — top executive, commercial director, chief financial officer, HR director, marketing director, director of public and corporate relations, director of legal affairs, development director, IT director, logistics director. No more than one candidate per company is allowed in each role. The manager's tenure in the organization in the position must be at least six months, and the job responsibilities must correspond to the chosen function.

      In particular, company executives in the Nizhny Novgorod region can submit applications to participate in the ranking until December 10, 2025. The ranking results will be presented in February 2026.

      By the way, in 2026 it is planned to expand the geography of the "TOP-100 Russian Managers. Regions" ranking to 10 federal subjects, and in 2028 to cover all regions of the Russian Federation.
