The fare for transport from Kstovo to Nizhny Novgorod will not change.

      The switch to city fares for transport between Nizhny Novgorod and Kstovo is being postponed. This was reported by pravda-nn.ru citing the regional Ministry of Transport.

      Although the Kstovo district officially became part of Nizhny Novgorod, fares have remained the same — intercity fares. Currently, trips cost Kstovo residents significantly more than they would otherwise.

      Recall that since November 1, within the city limits the ticket price has been 40 rubles.

      Nevertheless, the Ministry of Transport explained that routes between the two territories operate under unregulated fares. This means that carriers set the price themselves, and the current permits for such transportation are valid until 2027.

      In addition, a unified route network for the merged city is still being developed. Only after its approval will it be possible to talk about switching to city fares.

      It was previously reported that from January 1, 2026, Nizhny Novgorod residents will be able to pay for city public transport only by cashless payment.
