Another batch of humanitarian aid has been delivered to servicemen located in the area of the special military operation. The shipment was collected and sent by the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of United Russia and party supporters.
It included traditional and most-needed items: camouflage nets, personal hygiene products, underwear and clothing, food items, batteries, gas burners, and nails. Separately, to provide moral support to the fighters, letters from Nizhny Novgorod schoolchildren and handmade teddy bears — protective talisman toys — were sent.
“Residents of Nizhny Novgorod are very actively participating in collecting humanitarian aid for our fighters. They drop off parcels at local party branches, and then the shipments are consolidated at our regional branch of United Russia. For example, students, teachers, and staff of Bogorodsk Medical College donated sets of toothpastes and toothbrushes. And from Bolshoye Murashkino we received a batch of extra-durable rubber boots. On the front line every contribution, even the smallest, to the common assistance is priceless — because it brings our Victory closer!” emphasized Dmitry Filipenko, head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional executive committee of the United Russia party.
Municipalities of the Nizhny Novgorod region took part in assembling the humanitarian cargo, including local branches of United Russia in the Sovetsky and Moskovsky districts of Nizhny Novgorod, and the Bogorodsky, Krasnobakovsky, Lukoyanovsky, Bolshemurashkinsky and Kstovsky districts.
Recall that residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region provide ongoing support to servicemen, internally displaced persons, residents of liberated territories and border regions.
The Nizhny Novgorod regional branch and the volunteer center of United Russia organized operational headquarters in the first days of the special military operation. The party’s deputies and various organizations immediately joined the work. Shipments are being sent on an ongoing basis — both for servicemen and for the civilian population. Deputies and activists, together with partners, regularly deliver necessary items, special equipment, medicines and food.
