The Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of Health has denied a shortage of prescription paper in hospitals, regional health system representative Alexey Nikonov wrote on his Telegram channel. Earlier, a notice appeared at the Kstovo Central District Hospital asking patients to bring their own paper. It turned out to be a personal initiative of one of the nurses. In addition, residents of Zavolzhye complained that prescriptions were being written on stickers. As the ministry noted, this is not a prescription but merely a reminder for patients. A real prescription must bear the medical institution’s stamp, its details and the date of issuance. In addition, the region is actively developing an electronic prescription system, which can be received as a QR code.
