A motor rally "Memory in the heart, memory for the ages..." took place in Bogorodsk, dedicated to fellow countrymen who died during the special military operation and other local conflicts. The initiative for the event belongs to the mothers and widows of the fallen soldiers, as well as veterans of combat operations. The event was organized by local branches of the Nizhny Novgorod regional public organization "Nizhegorodsky Border Guard" and the All-Russian public organization "Combat Brotherhood." Active support was provided by the administration of the Bogorodsk municipal district and the Volunteer Center of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

More than 100 residents of Bogorodsk and Nizhny Novgorod took part in the motor rally and commemorative events, including veterans of combat zones and their family members, employees of the city's enterprises, and the active youth of the district.

"Thank you to all the participants who joined the motor rally. Such events are very important for the families of our fellow countrymen who are now on the front lines. It is important for our servicemen to know that their military labor finds support at the rear. Together we are stronger!" said Andrey Zakharov, chairman of the regional Council of Veterans.

The column of vehicles traveled along routes significant to the city, linking the memory of different generations of heroes. The motor rally concluded at a chapel in memory of Bogorodsk soldiers who died in the special military operation. This chapel was built by Sergey and Lyudmila Bardin in memory of their son Alexander.

"For us this motor rally is much more than a routine event. It is a road laid by a parent's heart, a wife's fidelity and brotherly solidarity. When an initiative is born in families who have lost their nearest and dearest, the event acquires a special meaning — we help this deeply personal memory to come out onto the streets of the city so that it can be expressed, heard and felt by everyone. This is healing work for our whole society — to remember not formally, but truly, uniting in a shared impulse of gratitude and sorrow. And we will always be nearby so that this voice of memory may be heard," emphasized Yuri Rylov, chairman of the Bogorodsk branch of the Nizhny Novgorod regional public organization of border service veterans "Nizhegorodsky Border Guard."

The culmination of the motor rally was a ceremonial gathering at the Eternal Flame. Participants honored the fallen heroes with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the memorial.
