      More than 2,500 mortgage loans totaling 18.78 billion rubles have been issued in the Nizhny Novgorod Region under the IT-mortgage program since its launch and as of December 1, 2025. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the region's Ministry of Digital Development.

      As the ministry clarified, the region consistently ranks among the leaders in the number of loans issued under this program. According to data published by JSC "DOM.RF" in the "Unified Reporting on Preferential Mortgage Lending" section, the Nizhny Novgorod Region ranks eighth among all constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

      The IT-mortgage program provides preferential terms for information technology sector employees, allowing them to acquire housing on more favorable conditions. The support is aimed at increasing the region's attractiveness for qualified specialists and developing the digital economy.

      Recall that the preferential mortgage program for employees of accredited IT companies operates in Russia at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The introduction of support measures for IT specialists corresponds to the goals of the new national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State," which has been in effect in Russia since January 1, 2025.

      It was also reported that Nizhny Novgorod companies can receive up to 2 billion rubles to implement projects for the development, refinement and implementation of Russian solutions in the IT sector.
