Nizhny Novgorod TV tower will be lit up with themed lighting on Mother's Day.

The RTRS branch "Nizhny Novgorod Regional Radio and Television Transmitting Center," the autonomous nonprofit organization "Institute of Demographic Development" and the regional Ministry of Social Policy will hold an event for Mother's Day on November 30.
From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. the TV tower on Belinka will switch on themed lighting. Graphic images dedicated to family and motherhood will appear on the city's tallest engineering structure: a large heart, the word "mama" and the symbol of the holiday — a forget-me-not.
In addition, a running line will be launched on the media facade with the inscriptions "30 November," "Mother's Day," the regional government logo and the official symbols of the program "OSNOVA — Nizhny Novgorod project of life," implemented in the region as part of the national project "Family."
During the day digital billboards around the city will also display the slogan "Being a mom is a superpower!"
Recall that the program "OSNOVA — Nizhny Novgorod project of life" is aimed at supporting families, creating a comfortable environment, improving living standards and caring for the health of the region's residents. It provides a payment of at least 1 million rubles for each child born or adopted after July 1, 2025. Family income does not matter. The project is being implemented with the support of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Mother's Day was established by a presidential decree in 1998 and is celebrated on the last Sunday of November, emphasizing the important role of mothers in raising children and preserving spiritual and family values.
