Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs are invited to participate in a webinar with the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Egypt.

      Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs are invited to take part in the webinar "An Hour with the Russian Trade Representative in Egypt" (18+) with Alexey Tevanyan. The event is organized by the regional Export Support Center (ESC).

      According to Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the region supplies Egypt with products made of ferrous metals, plastics, wood and wood products, electrical equipment, printed matter and other goods.

      "In 2025 the volume of exports to Egypt grew by approximately 20 percent. Today this country is among the three largest markets for our non‑commodity exports. It is important for the region to increase this figure and create conditions for further growth in shipments. Open dialogues are one of the effective tools for such work. At the webinar with the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Alexey Tevanyan, participants will learn about the specifics of interacting with local companies and will be able to receive the necessary recommendations for building cooperation," said Maxim Cherkasov.

      The webinar will take place on December 8 at 12:00. To participate, you must submit an application by December 3.

      In 2025 five webinars were held with Russian trade representatives in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Peru and Iran.

      The national project "Effective and Competitive Economy," initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is set to become the main tool for shaping a new growth model. It includes federal projects aimed at developing small and medium-sized enterprises, increasing labor productivity, boosting investment activity, promoting low-carbon development and developing the state system of statistics and forecasting. One of the main items of the national project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" was creating conditions for an easy start and comfortable business operations. Work to support entrepreneurs in this area will continue this year within the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy."
