      The prosecutor's office has taken an interest in a horrific road accident in Vyksa in which an 11-year-old boy died.

      According to the police, the boy, who was crossing the road, was first hit by one car and then run over by another. The victim died before the ambulance arrived.

      The Ministry of Internal Affairs has opened a criminal case. Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.

      The prosecutor's office has taken the progress and results of the investigation under its control, the supervisory agency's press service said.
