      In the settlement of Novinki two local women became victims of fraudsters. Parents received messages allegedly from the principal of one of the schools offering preparatory classes for their children. To "reserve a spot," the interlocutors demanded that 5,300 rubles be transferred to the specified accounts. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Later the women found that no such classes existed and that the school principal had not sent such messages. Criminal cases have been opened regarding the incident.

      Earlier the website pravda-nn.ru reported that two residents of Nizhny Novgorod were cheated when purchasing foreign cars from abroad.
