      Incidents

      A foreign-made car fatally struck an 11-year-old boy in Vyksa, the press service of the regional office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

      According to law enforcement, the tragedy occurred at about 16:08 on November 26 near building No. 31 on Stepana Razin Street. A 43-year-old woman driving a Kia Carnival struck the boy as he was crossing the road. A Kia Soul driven by a 54-year-old woman then ran over the fallen minor.

      The victim died before medics arrived. A criminal case has been opened under Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

      GAI officers and police investigators are working at the scene of the accident.

      Earlier it was reported that a driver without a license fatally struck a schoolgirl in Nizhny Novgorod.
