It is now known where the entrances to the "Ploshchad Svobody" metro station will be located.

      Presumed locations of the entrances to the future metro station "Ploshchad Svobody" in Nizhny Novgorod have been determined. A diagram showing the locations of the entrance pavilions was published on the Telegram channel "MetroNN".

      According to the preliminary design, a total of four entrances are planned. Three of them will appear directly on Ploshchad Svobody. One will be located by 1905 Square, and the other two on the opposite side of the square.

      Another entrance is planned on Gorky Street near building No. 147a.

      Recall that the state expert review approved the project for the stage of extending the Avtozavodskaya metro line in Nizhny Novgorod. This concerns work in the historic part of Nizhny Novgorod: on the section from the tail tracks beyond Gorkovskaya station to the future Sennaya station (stage 2.6).

      The project is being implemented in 14 stages. The construction of the left running tunnel 1,491 meters long, connecting Ploshchad Svobody and Sennaya, has already been completed.

      According to the latest information, the Sennaya and Ploshchad Svobody metro stations will be completed by mid-2027.
