      72 Nizhny Novgorod companies have used the service for registering and promoting SMEs on international electronic platforms since it began operating in 2021. The amount of support provided by the Export Support Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region under the national project "International Cooperation and Export" exceeded 85 million rubles. The Export Support Center (ESC) covers 80% of the costs associated with bringing a company onto an international electronic trading platform, including the deposit, subscription fees and operating expenses.

      Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, noted that thanks to the ESC’s service for registration and promotion on international marketplaces, the region’s entrepreneurs have entered the markets of Belarus, Serbia, India, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and China.

      "Our specialists help companies complete registration, translate information from product packaging, conduct photoshoots and develop a product promotion plan. Companies also have access to services for selecting and paying for storage space for goods abroad for up to six months. Total costs for bringing companies to international marketplaces reach one million rubles per organization. Over the entire period of the service, Nizhny Novgorod companies have earned more than 85 million rubles from product sales," said Maxim Cherkasov.

      He added that this year two Nizhny Novgorod organizations entered international markets: LLC "NPF 'Reabilitatsionnye Tekhnologii'" (a manufacturer of medical rehabilitation equipment) — onto the Medical Expo (VirtualExpo) marketplace, and LLC "Fabrika Karnavala" (a manufacturer of mascots and full-body costumes for celebrations) — onto the Amazon e-commerce platform.

      The service for entering international marketplaces is available to small and medium-sized enterprises registered in the Nizhny Novgorod Region that have no outstanding tax liabilities. You can apply for the service at: https://myexport.exportcenter.ru/services-eku/Podbor_i_razmeshenie/.

      The national project "International Cooperation and Export," initiated by President of Russia Vladimir Putin, is being implemented in the Nizhny Novgorod Region by the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship. The national project includes three federal projects: "Industrial Export," "Export of Agricultural Products," and "Systemic Measures for the Development of International Cooperation and Export."
