      The Main Directorate of Highways of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has decided unilaterally to terminate the contract with LLC "Nizhegorodavtodor" for road repairs in the Gaginsky, Lukoyanovsky and Bolsheboldinsky districts. The relevant information was posted on the public procurement portal.

      The contract amounted to 1.36 billion rubles. Under the terms, the contractor was to bring 15 road sections into order between 2024 and 2026. However, during an inspection of completed work at sites in the Lukoyanovsky district, specialists identified a number of violations. In particular, the shoulders had not been cleared of shrubs or reinforced, and road signs and markings were missing.

      The breaches of obligations were the grounds for terminating the contract.

      Earlier, the authorities had terminated contracts with Nizhegorodavtodor due to missed repair deadlines in the Sokolsky, Koverninsky and Tonshaevsky districts and in Shakhunya.
