Rostelecom opened its first shared business space.

      21 November 2025, 11:17 Society — Rostelecom launches a network of digital office spaces in a sharing format. Fully equipped workspaces that can be rented for short periods via a dedicated smartphone app. The audience of the RTK Sharing project is businesses with distributed teams and companies using remote work formats that want to boost employee productivity and creativity. The "digital office" will allow them to efficiently organize their teams' work without the need for significant investments in renovation, equipment and office management.

      The digital office in RTK Sharing is a private workspace available for short-term flexible rental by companies. This provides privacy and comfort not available in traditional coworking spaces. Companies can rent offices for two or three days a week, for example for planning meetings or synchronizing remote teams, as well as for longer periods. The rental process is fully automated: you can choose an office, book it and sign the contract right in the app. This allows companies to start using the space as quickly as possible.

      Rostelecom opened the first such office in the Mozaika shopping center in Moscow. In addition to tech-enabled workstations, it features dedicated areas for meetings, presentations and negotiations, as well as a fully equipped recording studio where podcasts, interviews can be recorded and streams hosted.

      "We see growing interest in this format from property owners, in particular shopping centers — for them it is an excellent opportunity to attract more visitors and reduce the risk of losses from vacant premises. For tenant companies, short-term office rentals allow them to focus on solving key business tasks rather than searching for and outfitting space. We paid special attention to comfort and productivity: each workstation is equipped with ergonomic furniture, high-performance equipment and connected to high-speed internet. By offering Russian companies not only in-demand digital solutions but also convenient workspaces, Rostelecom aims to create a comfortable business environment in every sense."

      Rostelecom will develop the project not only as its own product but also through franchising (detailed information is on the website). This will allow rapid scaling of the network across the country and offer entrepreneurs a clear, highly profitable business model.

      Placement in shopping centers will ensure access to infrastructure and allow employees of tenant companies to save time on personal errands: shops, food courts, fitness clubs, MFCs and other services are within walking distance.
