The renovated lane on the dam of the Nizhny Novgorod Hydroelectric Power Station has been opened to traffic.

      A refurbished traffic lane has opened on the dam of the Nizhny Novgorod HPP. This was reported on his Telegram channel by the head of the Gorodetsky District, Alexander Mudrov.

      The official noted that the opening of the lane was a long-awaited stage in the facility's reconstruction. He also stressed that the repair of the second lane lies ahead, so the cancellation of the reversible traffic flow is not expected yet.

      Recall that the major overhaul of the crossing began in 2023, and in January 2024 vehicles with a gross weight of more than 15 tonnes were banned from the HPP bridge.

      Earlier it was reported that the deadline for completing the reconstruction of the Gorodetsky hydroelectric complex was extended by a year.
