Over 2025 Nizhny Novgorod residents purchased antivirals for almost 800 million rubles. This was reported by the chief editor of "Stacionar-press" Alexey Nikonov, citing analysts from RNC Pharma. Over the nine months of 2025 residents of Nizhny Novgorod bought about 1.28 million packs of antiviral medicines in pharmacies for a total of 773.5 million rubles. Compared with last year, people bought 2.6% more packs, while spending grew by 12.2%.
The most purchased drug was Ingavirin. Sales of Kagocel rose sharply — by 46% — and sales of non-branded oseltamivir from eight manufacturers increased by 42%.
Some drugs lost popularity. Sales of Tiloram from "Ozon Pharmaceuticals" fell by almost 30%, and Lavomax from a Nizhny Novgorod manufacturer fell by 11.2%.
