The inclusive employment office has moved to Marata Street.

      The project inclusive employment office for job seekers with disabilities and participants of the special military operation (SMO) at the Nizhny Novgorod personnel center “Rabota Rossii” has moved to 27 Marata Street. The space is organized on the basis of the regional fund “Defenders of the Fatherland.” Previously the office was located at 8 Slavyanskaya Street.

      Creating comfortable conditions for the employment of people with limited mobility and SMO participants aligns with the objectives of the national project “Personnel.” For the convenience of people with limited mobility, the inclusive office is equipped with ramps, an elevator is in operation, corridors have been widened, tactile paving has been installed for blind and visually impaired people, and all signs have been duplicated in Braille. An information kiosk with current vacancies and support measures for citizens has been installed in the office.

      “Creating an accessible environment is a crucial task that allows people with disabilities to feel confident and comfortable. The new inclusive office space has been equipped in accordance with all the requirements of a barrier-free environment, which makes employment services accessible to everyone,” said Igor Pantyukhin, Head of the Department for Labour and Employment of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      The key advantage of the updated office is the bringing together in one space of specialists from the personnel center “Rabota Rossii,” the “Defenders of the Fatherland” fund and the regional center “My Business.” This allows citizens to receive comprehensive support on a one-stop-shop basis.

      “Appointments are handled by career consultants from the employment service who provide the full range of support measures. We use an individual approach, accompanying citizens from the moment they apply until successful employment. We help to write resumes, select vacancies taking into account the person’s capabilities, and support adaptation in the new workplace. SMO participants are also offered programs to obtain secondary vocational and higher education, and representatives of the regional center ‘My Business’ provide consultations on starting one’s own business,” said Lyudmila Yegorova, Director of the Nizhny Novgorod personnel center “Rabota Rossii.”

      “Employment of SMO participants is one of the main requests veterans of the special operation bring to us after returning home. Of course, this request is also relevant for other target audiences of the ‘Defenders of the Fatherland’ fund: for family members of missing and deceased servicemen. Together we will continue to work so that veterans and their family members have comfortable working conditions in the Nizhny Novgorod Region,” emphasized Ekaterina Musina, Acting Head of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the “Defenders of the Fatherland” fund.

      Specialists of the inclusive office work with all employers, advising them on creating subsidized jobs, providing methodological support at all stages of an employee’s adaptation, selecting employees according to company requirements, and conducting training to develop an inclusive culture within teams.

      The project inclusive office welcomes job seekers and employers at: 27 Marata Street (entrance from the embankment), “Defenders of the Fatherland” fund, 3rd floor, room 302.

      Recall that from 2025, by order of President Vladimir Putin, the national project “Personnel” began operating in Russia. It includes four federal projects: “Labour Market Management,” “Active Employment Support Measures,” “Education for the Labour Market,” and “The Worker.” The activities of the national project are aimed at training personnel promptly and with quality to meet employers’ needs through coordinated work of educational institutions, companies and the state.
