      Temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of flights are in effect at Nizhny Novgorod’s Chkalov Airport. Rosaviatsiya reported their introduction at 02:43 on November 4.

      According to the agency, the airport had to suspend operations for safety reasons due to the threat of a drone attack.

      Similar restrictions were introduced overnight in Samara, Kazan and Nizhnekamsk. Their airports have now resumed normal operations.

      Recall that on November 2 the prosecutor’s office launched an investigation after flight delays in Nizhny Novgorod.
