      In Nizhny Novgorod, on the parallel road of Gagarin Avenue, the installation of the first large prefabricated block of metal span structures of the overpass onto temporary supports has been completed. This was reported by DSK "Avtoban".

      The company noted that the work is being carried out as part of the first stage of the second phase of the large-scale road project. The temporary supports provide support for the span structure during the large-scale assembly stage and allow for a smooth transition to lowering it onto the bearing parts to connect it with the overpass supports.

      Recall that construction of the parallel road began in March 2024. The project is being implemented under a concession agreement concluded in December 2023 between the government of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and LLC "Concession Construction Company No. 11".

      The total length of the second, third and fourth phases of the route exceeds 12.3 kilometres. The maximum construction cost is 64.4 billion rubles. Active work is currently underway on the second and third phases.
