      On the evening of November 1, a road traffic accident involving underage pedestrians occurred in the village of Zaprudnoye in the Kstovo district, the press service of the regional traffic police reported.

      An 18-year-old man was riding a Motoland Apex motorcycle through the Yuzhny Quarter. He attempted to pass pedestrians who were walking at the edge of the road but lost control and struck three girls — two of them 15 years old, the youngest only 12.

      The driver himself did not have a license to operate a vehicle.

      All parties were injured as a result of the collision. The motorcyclist was taken to the Kstovo Central District Hospital with injuries. One of the 15-year-old girls was taken to the same hospital with a traumatic brain injury. The other two schoolgirls suffered bruises to an arm and a leg. They were treated at the scene and released home.

      The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
