      Former deputy minister of social policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Alexey Isaev has been appointed head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The corresponding decree was signed on October 30 by the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin.

      Prior to this, Isaev worked at the Ministry of Social Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, where since 2017 he held the post of deputy minister. In 2019 he became minister. In the autumn of 2020 the official left this position of his own accord.

      After that he headed the regional branch of the Russian Social Insurance Fund, and then represented the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in Khartsyzk. Later Isaev was considered for various posts in regional ministries, but in the end he returned to the Ministry of Social Policy as deputy minister.

      Earlier it was reported that Nizhny Novgorod native Svetlana Ermolova headed the Ministry of Health of the Kursk Region.
