      In Nizhny Novgorod, city authorities have decided to expropriate two more dilapidated houses in the historic part of the city for municipal needs.

      The decision concerns building No. 28/21, letter A, located on Gogol Street, and house No. 11 on Bolshie Ovragi Street. The corresponding decrees were published on the city administration’s website on November 1, 2025.

      Along with the house on Gogol Street, the adjacent land plot of 673 square meters is to be expropriated. Similar measures will affect the area around the second property — a plot of 325 square meters adjacent to the multi-apartment house No. 11 in Bolshie Ovragi.

      The administration of the Nizhegorodsky District has been instructed, together with the relevant departments, to carry out an appraisal of the property and to prepare and send property owners draft agreements on the expropriation of the real estate.

      Earlier it was reported that the authorities of Nizhny Novgorod plan to expropriate house No. 22 with a plot on Kostina Street.
