Due to the celebration of National Unity Day, changes will occur in the operations of the divisions of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. This was reported by the Traffic Police Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.
As the agency noted, since November 4, 2025 is an official public holiday, there will be no public reception — all divisions will be closed that day.
On November 1, 2025 the divisions will continue to operate on their regular schedules.
The Interdistrict Registration and Examination Department (Strelka Street, 4B) will be open from 08:00 to 19:30, with a lunch break from 13:00 to 13:45.
The Department of Technical Oversight and Vehicle Registration (Metallistov Street, 111) will receive visitors from 08:00 to 19:15, lunch from 13:00 to 13:45.
The registration and examination offices at 46 Permyakova Street and 1 Rodionova Street — from 08:00 to 15:15.
On November 2 and 3, 2025 the department at Metallistov Street, 111 will operate in a "duty window" mode. On those days citizen reception will be from 08:00 to 19:15.
It was previously reported that in Nizhny Novgorod, due to a shortage of State Traffic Inspectorate personnel, only one DPS patrol operates at night in each of the city's eight districts.
