The FSB Border Guard Directorate for the Saratov and Samara Regions is recruiting candidates for military service under contract.
The Border Guard Directorate’s personnel stand guard over the state border with the Republic of Kazakhstan and also provide border control at the air checkpoints of the international airports in the cities of Saratov, Samara, Kazan, Ufa, Perm, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Ulyanovsk, and Cheboksary.
Contract servicemen are provided with service apartments or compensation for renting housing for the serviceman and members of his family; the opportunity to purchase their own housing in any region of the country under the "Military Mortgage" program; paid leave (at least 30 days in the first year of service, 45 days from the second year), with additional days granted as needed for travel to and from the leave destination.
In addition, preferential calculation of length of service is provided (1 year of contract service is counted as 1.5 years), which makes it possible to retire after 13.5 calendar years following the signing of the contract; state life and health insurance; medical care and sanatorium-resort treatment in departmental medical institutions; full provision of uniforms; the opportunity to obtain higher education at a departmental higher educational institution; monetary pay starting from 45,000 rubles (depending on position, length of service and military rank).
