The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow has decided not to release from pre-trial detention the chairman of the board and co-owner of JSC "RUMO", Andrey Gorshkov. Information about this appeared on the official website of the capital's courts.
The hearing took place on October 16. The court granted the petition to extend the term of detention.
The businessman's defense has already filed an appeal.
Recall that Andrey Gorshkov was detained in Moscow on suspicion of abuse of official powers. He was later also charged with fraud on a particularly large scale. These charges do not pertain to RUMO's activities.
Earlier it was reported that house arrest was extended for the former head of the Administrative Department of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Yuri Bortnikov.
