      Employees of the management office of Transneft – Upper Volga JSC took part in the corporate donor campaign “Energy of Life.” The event brought together more than 40 volunteers who donated over 20 liters of blood. The collected blood components will be sent to medical institutions and military hospitals.

      For the convenience of donors, blood collection was organized with the participation of an outreach medical team from the N.Ya. Klimova Nizhny Novgorod Blood Center. The procedure was conducted using a modern mobile unit equipped with all necessary equipment. The entire process was carried out in strict compliance with the required sanitary and epidemiological regulations.

      Before donation, each participant underwent a mandatory medical examination and completed a questionnaire. Blood center specialists provided donors with detailed explanations on all matters related to the procedure, preparation for it, and existing contraindications. The volunteers included both first-time and experienced donors.

      “I am proud that our enterprise regularly holds donor drives that help those in need and unite the team around an important cause,” says Dmitry Sabanov, Head of the Industrial Safety and Production Control Department.

      Since the beginning of this year, more than 170 employees have taken part in donor campaigns organized by Transneft – Upper Volga JSC, donating a total of nearly 90 liters of blood.
