The Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, announced the dates for Russia’s largest international media art festival Intervals (0+).
In 2026 the event will again take place in the Volga capital from April 23 to 26 for the ninth time. The festival’s theme will be "Sign/Symbol."
"The event has long become one of the cultural symbols of Nizhny Novgorod. The festival, which started here in 2017 as a one-day program with a small number of artists, was visited by more than 450,000 people in 2025!" — Gleb Nikitin noted on his Telegram channel.
Nikitin emphasized that in 2026 audiences will be invited to look at the city in a new way — to decipher the messages encoded in it, follow routes of contemporary media art and hear how architectural monuments sound.
The festival will bring together a large-scale multimedia exhibition, an educational program, musical performances and AV performances.
Recall that last year the festival set a record for the number of visitors. See how it was here.
