Leaders of the ECG ranking were honored at the 'SO.ZNANIE' forum in Nizhny Novgorod.

      At the EKG Responsible Business Forum "SO.ZNANIE" in Nizhny Novgorod, the award ceremony for the "For Contribution to the Achievement of National Development Goals" prize took place.

      Leaders of the EKG rating in the Volga Federal District were JSC Management Company BHH "Orghim", LLC "LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez", JSC "Polief" (part of PJSC "Sibur Holding"), JSC "Ammoniy" and JSC "Promis".

      Achieving the national development goals requires the consolidation of all resources, including broad participation by entrepreneurs. The laureate companies were selected based on the following criteria: the company has passed two stages of the EKG rating; high positions in the EKG rating (AAA, Leader); the legal entity is registered in the regions of the Volga Federal District; the company carries out systematic work and makes a significant contribution to the development of the region where it operates.

      The awards and diplomas were presented to the winners by the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Central Federal District Igor Shchyogolev, the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, and the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin.

      "It has become a good tradition for us to honor the leaders of the EKG rating who think strategically and see their mission as broader and farther-reaching than immediate profit. The leading companies have proven that they see their goal in actively supporting the regions where they operate, in creating decent conditions for their employees and their families, and in effective interaction with the authorities. A high result in the EKG rating is an important signal: the systematic work of such companies in the interests of society does not go unnoticed and is a natural consequence of their mature corporate policy. Today we are awarding companies from various sectors of the economy of the Volga Federal District that have made the greatest practical contribution to achieving the national development goals. The EKG rating was created precisely to find, encourage and scale up the best examples of responsible business conduct," said the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Central Federal District Igor Shchyogolev.

      "Implementing EKG principles is not just a fashionable trend. EKG is a serious driver of territorial development that contributes to the long-term well-being of residents. Such a systematic approach requires regional authorities to be responsible and to have a deep understanding of all socio-economic processes. It is about forming an effective economic environment, developing infrastructure and improving the quality of life for every person. The EKG rating system is also a useful tool for assessing one’s own work and the effectiveness of decisions made by the authorities. I am glad that the majority of business representatives in the district’s regions understand the importance of this direction," said the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov.

      Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin congratulated the leaders of the EKG rating.

      "I am sure this is a special victory. It shows that each of the companies not only cares about economic indicators but, first and foremost, takes responsibility toward people, society and nature. I am very glad that among the leaders are Nizhny Novgorod companies that invest in numerous social projects related both to the well-being of residents and to regional development and sports," emphasized Gleb Nikitin.

      The award winners implement social and environmental projects, support employees’ families, invest in education and health, and introduce innovations and sustainable production practices. The presentation of diplomas became a symbol of these companies’ significant contribution to the development of the regions and the country, confirming that efficient business can be both socially oriented and progressive.
