      Another courtyard in the city of Dzerzhinsk received a second life thanks to residents’ participation in the municipal program "Formation of a Modern Urban Environment." The result of the comprehensive improvement was inspected by City Duma deputies Oleg Bogdanov and Sergey Rybalchenko together with the head of Dzerzhinsk, Mikhail Klinkov.

      The yard area of house No. 29 on Oktyabrskaya Street is very large and occupies seven thousand square meters, and about 400 Dzerzhinsk residents live in the building itself. Of course, the surrounding space had long needed renewal.

      "The site turned out wonderful. If I lived in this building, I would gladly walk here with my children," noted the deputy for district No. 30, where the building is located, Sergey Rybalchenko.

      Recall that Sergey Alekseyevich was elected to the Duma of the eighth convocation in September of this year. He said that while speaking with residents, many of them expressed wishes for the improvement of the yard area. All requests were taken into account according to technical capabilities and implemented in practice.

      On the renovated grounds benches and lights have been installed, driveways and a parking lot have been arranged, a raised sidewalk has been built at the house, and in the center of the yard there is a children's playground with a rubber surface and play equipment. After the improvement work was completed, residents planted flowers by the playground.

      "We are very pleased with the results of the work," the building’s residents expressed in unison.

      Participants of the working visit inspected the yard area and noted that installing video surveillance is necessary to preserve the objects in their original condition.

      "The yard has been transformed, and it is important to preserve the beauty that has been created. Unfortunately, there are incidents of vandalism in our city. Of course, much depends on the residents themselves. I hope the improved yard will please city residents for many years," said Oleg Bogdanov, chairman of the Committee on Urban Economy of the Dzerzhinsk City Duma.
