      Excavation work is underway at the site of the future cableway across the Oka River. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by JSC "Urbantech Cableways."

      Before the earthworks began, specialists completed the installation of a sheet pile enclosure. This structure allows slopes to be reinforced, prevents ground movement, and protects the construction site from external impacts.

      In addition, the use of sheet piles completely eliminates negative effects on nearby buildings and structures, which is especially important in an urban development setting.

      The company added that all work is being carried out in accordance with the deadlines set out in the concession agreement.

      Recall that construction of the cableway across the Oka began on August 7. The total investment in the construction amounts to 5.2 billion rubles.
