About 40% of the roads in Kstovsky District do not meet standards.

      "We have begun a systematic assessment of the condition of roads and public amenities in Kstovo in order to bring them up to Nizhny Novgorod standards. More than 13 km have already been put in order this year," the mayor informed.

      A repair plan for 2026 and beyond is also already being developed. When drawing it up, residents' requests, public transport routes and the location of social facilities are taken into account.

      According to Shalabaev, in the foreseeable future it is planned to repair 40 Years of October Street, the roads of the Volzhsky Refinery, as well as bring Teatralnaya, Shkolnaya, Chvanova, Nizhegorodskaya, Sovetskaya, Zelenaya and Kstovskaya streets and Chvanova Street into compliance with standards. Road repairs in the district's settlements also remain to be carried out.

      "We will supplement the list based on the results of a professional assessment," added the mayor of Nizhny Novgorod.

      Earlier it was reported that about 380 million rubles will be allocated for major road repairs in the Kstovo district.
